Color In Pretty

Diversity Education Through Art

Our Mission is To Celebrate Every Shade of Beautiful.

At Color In Pretty, we believe something powerful happens when children see themselves represented in the art they create. That’s why we designed our Dollies with pre-colored skin tones that match real people from around the world.

"Our mission began with a simple question: How can we help children love their own skin tone while appreciating the beautiful diversity in our world? The answer was Color In Pretty Dollies—where diversity is built into every page."

Why Pre-Colored Skin Tones Matter

When children open traditional coloring books, they’re often faced with blank outlines that don’t represent the beautiful diversity of our world. By providing pre-colored skin tones in our Dollies collection, we’re sending a powerful message:

  • Your skin tone is perfect exactly as it is

  • Diversity is something to celebrate, not an afterthought

  • Representation matters in everyday activities like coloring

  • Learning about diversity can be fun and natural

What Parents Are Saying About Our Multicultural Coloring Pages

My daughter spent nearly two hours coloring her Color In Pretty pages. She was so excited to show me how she made the dollie’s dress match her own favorite outfit. These aren’t just coloring pages—they’re conversation starters about beauty in all skin tones.
— Melissa T., Mother of 6-year-old
In my area, most of the population consists of individuals from various ethnicities. Color In Pretty is an excellent way for me to educate my daughter about the diverse skin tones that exist in the world and teach her to appreciate and accept them all.
— Parent Testimonial
My daughter has ADHD and struggles to focus on most activities. With these diversity coloring sheets, she sits contentedly for over an hour, creating stories about the dollies and choosing colors for their outfits. The dollies are so beautiful. It’s been a game-changer for our family

The Journey

The Birth of a Colorful Vision

We created Color In Pretty with a clear goal: to help kids love how they look. Our coloring pages show real skin tones from around the world. It allows children to see and celebrate what makes each of us unique.

Nicola Styles started Color In Pretty because kids needed coloring pages that showed people who looked like them. She first made these pages for her nieces. Now, this family project has grown, and her nieces earn money from each sale, learning about business and self-worth.

We’ve found that our diverse coloring books do an essential job. They provide parents and teachers with a fun way to discuss diversity and acceptance with kids. Children connect with these talks better when they see themselves in the pictures they Color.

Today, Color In Pretty makes inclusive coloring pages that celebrate all skin tones. We help kids have fun while learning that everyone’s differences make our world more beautiful.

Teaching children the importance of embracing skin tone helps them understand themselves better and realize how beautiful they are, no matter what color they identify with.
